Looks like someone else's  icon_porc bank has been busy! Au Revoir to the AWsome Pear Pair! Kudos to the lucky new owner for snagging them so quickly... Surely, the pears will be drop-dead gorgeous however they are used! Lovely. Lovely. Lovely.  Banane13

Yup-piggy bank is squealing right now-really need to sell a few things to make up for it!!!

I have lots of ideas for them, but for now I don't think I'm going to do too much with them until the  icon_porc fills up again.  Maybe gizmos.

I have lots of ideas for them though.

Side stones or...

I've always loved the last pendant, but think they will be to short and fat for something like that.

1) Or considered selling this ring and trying to reproduce it.
2) Or

I know that they are small in comparison to most of the stone in the pics I listed, so really unsure at this time Smiley

Dear DL -

Personally, my fave is the "double deco pear ring" you posted two pictures of.   th_AWA123112

Have fun deciding!

The one I REALLY like is the one you drew DL. (The one with the rocket center).  I think that would be spectacular.

Thanks all Smiley

I really have know idea what I should do with the pear pair yet, I'm thinking gizmos possibly, until I can decide on a ring design.  I'm thinking long term they need to be in a ring for sure, that's my problem-I always seem to gravitate towards rings, so I can stare at them!  Maybe I just need to see them in person 1st.

I also wanted to add, thanks for your opinions-they all mean alot to me---I know everyone has varied jewelry tastes, but I truly appreciate them all  Cheesy

Mikla and IHADP, here is a side view of that ring---its gorgeous!

DJM-my rocket ring design is kind of crazy, but I like all my pieces to be alittle different from others that I own Smiley

Well after a lot of thought, I am still unsure how I want to set my pear pair!

They have to be in a ring I've decided, but didn't really want a 3 stone with them as sides.

1)Plat, knife edge shank, pink gold bezel set pink baguette with claw prongs on the pears
2)Plat, single cut rounds in shank, pink gold bezel set pink baguette with claw prongs on the pears
3)Plat, halos with single cut rounds, double bezel(plat and rose gold) around pink baguette and either claw or bezel set pears, knife edge shank

These are the top 3 choices right now!?!?!

i think i would end up stabbing someone in the eye with either of the first two!!! i would have to vote #3 of all of them, but i still see something else for those pears....i'm not sure what though...

sanchica-I too am alittle torn with how to set them, I know they would make lovely earrings---but they need to be in a ring for my sanity!  I would be constantly trying to catch a glance at them if they were on my ears  Grin  As for stabbing someone, my original ER is a marquise-so very similar concept-and I haven't stabbed anyone with it...yet  Wink  Time will tell I'm sure, usually I get a feeling for how to set a stone and go with it-with these I seem to go round and round.

Thanks for your input, I'm alway open to suggestions-especially when I am on the fence Smiley  I know my design ideas tend to be a little outside others comfort zones, but I'm OK with that and tend to lean that way on purpose---I still always appreciate others opinions!  Life's too short not to have fun with your jewelry  Cheesy

I will admit I'm in the group choosing number 3 as well.

DL thinks in ways I don't- so I kind of hate to give opinions- because I really think design that's ..."challenging" to the senses is fresh- and important.

That said, I also think Sanchica has a point- bypass would be a very nice way to go....

D-I'm glad I can 'challenge' your senses  Grin  That's a really nice way to say that-DL has some crazy ideas  tard  Really, I do know that I come up with some out of the box design ideas---as my hubby would say 'that's just my baby!' Smiley

I started out with a bypass for my pear pair and have been thinking bypass again recently, but haven't found the 'right' design yet.

Here are a couple I came across, non I really love...
