I think they're close enough as a match. What about you guys?

But I do want to see another pair similar to these. (Not these diamonds, per se, but since we're discussing earrings.)

I think they match close enough for earrings - they're quite pretty.  What color is stone number two?

I like the design that WM posted, but I would also like to see another pair of yellow radiants with a halo of yellow rounds.

If there aren't diamonds in heaven, I'm not going!

I would snap these up now if I could.  Seriously.  They are gorgeous.

I like WMs suggestion (who wouldn't love those earrings!) but for me I'd want something I would wear everyday.  I'd rather buy costume jewelry for pieces I'm only going to wear a couple of times a year max.

Wow those will make beautiful earrings!  I would say stick with the studs for these.  I do love the earrings that WM posted, but what I really love about those is the contrast of the yellow and white.  Of course I guess that you could surround these with yellow instead of white.

But, I say go for the studs.  What a great alternative to RBs!

I think the cushions need to be studs, too. It is the contrast that I like on the pair.

I love the idea of delicate split prongs, these are a graceful shape for earrings.

Hard call - I think it would look great either way.  Since they're not huge stones, I think I'm going to put my vote in for single claws.  I think the diamonds have a pretty shape, and the double claws might cover up too much... not sure though...

I vote studs, they're gorgeous on their own...

they'd be like tiny sparkling pillows for each of your ears...

How about Studs with claw settings? I've actually never seen us do a pair of White claw settings. I'll see if I can find a photo with yellow claws. I'm not sure everyone knows what "claw settings" are.

Oh my gosh Ruby - you're so right!

I think she has her eyes on those brownish yellow "rovals" though,  but I'm pretty sure these are the size she was thinking!

Hello Ruby and Ronda!!!  Good to see ya!  I would be hesitant to use double claws on cushions.  I once saw a pair set that way that ended up looking like radiants because the width of the double claws seemed to add 'corners' to the stones.  Pick something that shows off the soft curvy sides.  I love cushions!

Hey girls!

Ronda, I'd say go for the cushions before the rovals... I too would not get dbl claws as they sometimes take away of the shape... But it depends on the jeweler...

I once saw a pair of cushions w/ dbl claws and the earrings looked very square Sad

Thanks gals....I too saw the same pair of cushions that you saw Wink!...For obvious reasons, no, they didn't look as spectacular as they could have.   I would have "curved" out the sides if it were possible to form the shape around the corners of the cushions.   It may be easier said than done....but I have seen it done in a tasteful manner.     If it couldn't be done, then I would definately go for single claws and I am sure it would be just as beautiful!  My first post...and I am already in temptation mode!!  ~Ronda
