Maybe if the sides had the points facing out, you could have them all set in halos---hummmmm, I'm liking that idea Smiley

Well, when the points face into the centre stone, the heart shapes are more apparent. When I first saw them laid out, I thought it was a heart with round yellow sidestones for a moment.

The little yellow hearts are really pretty.

I agree with Jen...very eloquently put.  You do lose the look of the side hearts when they face out, IMO.  They tend to look like rounded trills.

I agree that they look a little less like hearts when they face in, but I think I like it more that way because it adds some subtlety to it.  It's not as in your face, just has a nice organic look to it.

you guys all have such great taste.. Ive always wanted a heart ring. I reckon diagonally set would look nice.. thats flattering for people without long fingers..sort of antique looking
