Ugh...I am such a bad photographer...my photo doesn't do this baby justice.  Not even going to try to compete with the photographic skills of Snooper, DiamLady and Ronda...  No candies, flowers...just the rock...

CH, who needs candy or flowers when you have a ROCK like that!!!! I love it. More pics please!!!!!

DJ, I love you're pear. Looks a lot whiter than J to me though. Didn't it have some flourescence??

Thanks guys!  Yes it does have some fluorescence which helps it look really white.  I only ever see a slight, slight tint in certain light but it's very subtle and more often that not it is just very white.

CH..Wow girl!!!  What an addition!  I have totally lost track of what you own.  Can you post your collection?

Warm colors are the way.  I've always thought they had a different quality of sparkle.  And, my warmer stones almost always look deeper.  Don't know why that is......

Anyone have an L-M-N?
Do you ever notice a tint?

mskerryk

MskerryK,

My heart is an N color. There is a yellowish tint in some lighting, but usually it looks more white than yellow........it's set in platinum so I'm sure that helps too.

When I compare mine side by side to my sister's F color round I can totally see the tint. But that's ok. I still love it!! And it has lots of sparkle.

Tinted diamonds are loads cheaper than the D-E-F ones!! I would never buy a D-E-F!!!

CH----I can't believe that's an M!!!! It looks so white!

DJ----Your pear looks totally colorless to me too!

I am definitely a convert to well cut warmer color stones- I had been contemplating my 3 stone asscher ring for sometime-thinking about how a warmer color on an asscher would look, it is a J colored stone.  I ended up deciding to purchase my 5 stone radiant instead.  I always went back to look at that asscher ring, wishing that I had bought that ring.  Then when my hubby asked if the asscher was still available, I decided to put my worries behind me about warmer colored stones and make the purchase---I LOOOOOVE this ring the stones are so well cut, a tribute to David's great eye!  The great cut, I believe, is what makes this ring look so awesome-I think the 'warmth' gives the stone a great depth, which is really hard to describe.

I will never hesitate again to purchase a warmer colored stone from David Grin
