I know what you mean about the EC's looking like glass. I was always drawn to the shape but they seemed so... dull for a diamond. Then a love affair started when I saw the RA and all the fire it had. I was a bit hesitant getting this but David assured me it had a lot of fire as well. As you can see, I'm extremely happy I listened to him!

I was with my cousin last night and she went ga-ga over my ring. Could not believe it was a J and asked her husband whether she could upgrade to a 2+ ct J EC as well!! Of course, I gave her David's info. It'll take a little while for her to get her hubby used to that idea but knowing her, she'll work on it!   Cool

Snooper, should we include the Asscher sistas too?  Michi is one.... Sometimes EC's kinda masquerade as Asscher's.....

So,  a 3 ct. EC?.  I understand that to be a necessary thing for mental health.  You need this right away!!!

No tea, you are just a diamond addict and you are gonna have to accept it!  Look at Snooper: she just got that fabulous EC in a pink halo and went right out and bought a new cushion!  There is no stopping the diamond lust!

I was eyeing that cushion Snoop just got but she saved me from myself!
I've been toying with getting a small RB for a long time now... like one from his batch of $1995/ct RBs he has for earrings/pendants, etc.

I'm not allowing myself to get beyond the point of "looking." I'm still trying to be good.... need to break this addiction to my husband slowly. He thought he was done after my ering....

During my travels.... hehe... had to get that out of my system.... when I was researching setting ideas for my EC, I came across and absolutely fell in love with this setting. Unfortunately, it's for a RB and I'm not too keen on RBs... wonder whether it would work for a cushion or asscher... I ultimately decided on my current scalloped setting because it more simple. But this setting is still in the back of my head for something... wonder what David can do with it....
It's the signature Locke's setting since discontinued by them.

Ya know tea, your setting for your EC really is not that much different than that one.  It looks like you would just need to add a few surprise diamonds!..... I have to say,.............I love your setting just as much,  if not MORE!!! icon_thumleft ~Ronda

I have to agree with everyone.  While it's quite nice, if I had to choose between that and your EC? I'd choose yours  HANDS DOWN YOURS!!!!!!!!

I would say if you need something (who doesn't "NEED") go for earrings!!! I'm not a RB diamond fan, but for earrings? It's a staple!!
