I am looking for earrings to match my emerald cut wedding/engagement ring? I am looking for emerald cut earring ear shots to help decide scale and whether I want a dangle or a stud. I like a clean look.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has any ideas.

Here's a post from another thread asking David for earshots on some baquette studs--I believe they are .31 tctw --- anyhow, keep in mind that David is modeling these. LOL! The ones pictured in my last post are .93tctw...so that should give you some idea before he can assist you. I'm sure he will post pictures of anything that you are interested in (even if he has to do it himself)... Grin

Is it possible to see an ear shot of these ones, please David? Just to get an idea of size. I really like the look of them.

Thanks

Jen

Sorry, didn't see this earlier!

I love my EC studs. Can't tell you how much I love them. Here's an earshot, and next to my 1ct ering for size / scale. They are 1.18cttw.

I'm sorry, LJ, but the Stabing of the Hyacinths is still one of my favorite all-time DBL photos.  I chuckle everytime I see it (and I WILL go out again this spring to check my garden... if my hyacinths are sprouting sparklies I don't want to miss picking some).  Gorgeous ERs.  And, Mrs. M, your EC ERs are stunning!  Beautiful earshot.

LOL!  I kinda chuckle to myself that I stabbed that poor hyacinth.  Actually...looking at that hyacinth,  It doesn't seem too "poor" to me.... Evil

Like a variation on a money tree? I planted one of them last year but it hasn't cropped...

I think these studs are glorious. They are just one of the things I love most. I'm fond of ECs to begin with and I've wanted these studs for years! When I first opened the box, I fell in love immediately. I knew I'd love them, but really they are just a pair of studs - I didn't expect to be quite so in love with them LOL!

I really would like a pair of jackets for these guys one day soon.

Also, Mrs. M, I'm impressed with how sizable they look in your ears... just perfect.

When I first tried them, my initial reaction was "wow. They're just the right size, so glad I didn't go bigger." Now I'm pondering jackets for them. Shrinkage! Grin

Actually, they are the right size for studs exactly. Any bigger at all and they would have to be set in another way for me. I love studs at just over a carat total. Gorgeous!

I'm torn. Jackets for my rb studs would be more versatile, I could get gemstone rb studs etc. But white jackets for the ECs would be adorable. I'm pondering!

Nice idea, and you come to Glasgow regularly too. You might just find this is more practical than you thought...

Do you have jackets? Do you like them? Tell all!
