Madora...did you read my post concerning yellow for your second ear piercings?    Wink     Also...hmmm... I wonder wear your  little yellow studs came from BR?  Cheesy  I have missed them so and if you look at this thread

http://coloreddiamon...-a-week-from-hell/0/

you can see I treated myself to another pair for My second hole.... Grin

I do think when getting a diamond (or two or three...) from David,  EVERYONE has to buy a yellow from him!     He is the MASTER!! sultan

I can understand the fear of internet buying, and I have definitely dealt with some MAJOR scammers, BUT, DBL is a whole different story!  I can honestly say you have nothing to fear!  Whatever you buy will rock, and if not, David and the team will definitely make sure you are happy.

Personally, I am a big fan of having a pair of round studs as basic wear.  When I first decided to get a pair of studs I really thought that I wanted asschers, but I found that (IMHO) unless you get a really BIG pair it is hard to tell that they are not princesses.  Must say I am still kicking myself for not nabbing the 3.41 ct pair.  Will NOT make that mistake price if another set surfaces!!!  Of course, I do have HUGE ear lobes, so I am not a great case study.

Anyway, I really did not want to get rounds as they seemed so ordinary but you know, they are beautiful and classic and that is why everyone has them.  There is a 1.20 or so pair that David has listed for a very good price.  I also think that any yellow you could get from David will be show-stopping, so the princesses will be a GREAT option!  Cannot wait to see what you do!!!

That's right, mine are the 1.44.  If I'd gotten 3.41, can you imagine how big they would have been with that large halo around it!  I would have had to have my ears re-sewn again, lol!

Michi, your whole asscher collection amazes me.  And I still think of those 3.41s quite often.  I actually think I had a call in to David when they sold.  I would have traded in my yellow halos.  I took the brown cushion instead.

ooh, speaking of diamond earrings, this weekend I tried on the most gorgeous ever pair of OEC drops (just for kicks).  5.25 cts each, J/VVS1 with the biggest flashes of color!  Way more money than I could ever spend on jewelry, but was so much fun to try them on!  Cheesy

I'll have to go look and see if they are on the sold page.  I don't recall ever seeing them here.  You guys are killing me with your perfect, total recall of diamonds!

I know!  I was just thinking that I would probably lose like crazy on "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader", yet I can tell you the exact stats on many, many current and past DBL items, including who stole them out from under me and how many hours I spent trying to calculate how I could make them mine!!

Ok now, you are all making me miss Home Visit night!!!!  That bachelor is calling my name!!

Diamondluvr was contemplating those 3.41ct asschers to go with her 3-stone asscher ring she got from DBL but they sold before she could make up her mind. I loved those earrings... simply gorgeous... and that price!

Tea you know us enablers will say you MUST have some!!! But no seriously, everyone needs a pair of diamond studs before they die.  Sure you can't see them, but trust me, you'll look at yourself in the rear view mirror more!!

Well speaking as an owner of small asscher studs and a prior owner of small yellow princess cuts, I can tell you that both are beautiful!  If you don't have a pair of yellow diamond studs, go for the yellow first.  After that, believe me, every girl needs asscher studs because they look freakin' incredible on the ear - really, truly gorgeous!

Here's a couple of earshots.  If you want more, let me know and I'll take some.

I've got to add something here.  The asschers appear really bold white on the ear because of the large flashes of light.  They actually draw attention to the yellows and the color contrast between the two is perfect!  I catch myself staring at my ears in mirrors a lot more since I got them!

I want to make these into microset earrings--either studs or ones like ronda had made. I'm not doing a DSA, however. Just dreaming right now.

We have so many cute yellow pairs and since David bought in quantity they are good prices. That might be a good place to start. It's the kind of thing that allows you to put in that tippy toe and prepare you for diving in later.

And I'm going to sneak up on BigRed and snatch that pear for a single earring. I love that pear!

Hold on: I did not see ronda's confession! It's a DSA. Yeeehaaaaa!
