Hi Guys!

Here's a diamond one of NY's very finest cutters just finished.
It weighs exactly 4.00 carats.
As an SI2, there are some imperfections- yet to my eye, it's clean without a loupe.
We will list this one for $49,995.

If it was an F/VS1 of similar cut quality, it would have a price tag of about $100k

Does this stone have fluorescence?  For some reason, the first picture gives me a sort of "blue" vibe.

This is my dream diamond!  Also my not-in-life-diamond, but what can you do. 

Are you going to set this, or do diamonds this beautiful wait for their new owner to decide?  How do you decide which to set and which to leave loose?

If my budget were about ten times what it is, this would be my ring for sure.  A pretty simple setting with a diamond band or split-shank would be incredible.

Actually, anything would be incredible, now that I think of it.

But, as someone else said, not in this lifetime.

Maybe I should buy a Lotto ticket.
