Yup, that's me. My FI and I are planniing to get married SOMETIME, most likely between August and October this year, and we have NO plans for a ceremony; NO location picked out; NO reception; NO plans for a honeymoon; NO passports; NO suit that fits; NO dress; NO guest list; NO ENGAGEMENT RING; NO WEDDING BANDS; and NO ONE KNOWS our "plans" (anti-plans, more accurately) except my almost-nine-year-old son and YOU guys!
This anti-plan seems to have begun when my FI announced that One Day, when I least suspected it, he would surprise me, wisk me away somewhere -- like Hawaii -- and we'd get married (he'd have it all planned). Then, I started to panic that I'd be having a bad hair day or something, and my wedding day would be a disaster. So, I begged my dear FI to spare me, and asked him to reconsider the surprise. So, then, it was MY turn to plan the surprise wedding. And, have I done ANY planning yet? Nooooooooo!!!!! This man is my soulmate, yet, I just can't come up with the "perfect" scenario (I should hire Ace!). So, we've kind of got a bit of a standoff here... like a dare -- who's going to actually DO something? Even more warped, the longer we wait to make "plans," the more fun this little game becomes.
And, for all I know, FI COULD actually have a surprise planned...
Sooooo, I'd love for the EXPERTS at CDI to HELP PLAN OUR WEDDING AND HONEYMOON. BTW, both FI and I have been married before (divorced and widowed) so, I'm open to all kinds of suggestions...
