GIAGirl, I too rarely miss a meal...  Roll Eyes I'm flattered that you were interested enough to CONSIDER going without sustenance!

Thanks IHADP.  You KNOW that the pics don't do the diamonds justice, but they DO give a sense of what they look like.  I really understand why CDIers rave about their L-color diamonds (as well as all the other colors!)... these are magnificent.

Snoop, you are killing me! I'll try, but I'm not sure I'll be able to "set up a shoot" until after the wedding...

Goodness, T!  That pendant and your new earrings are beyond stunning.  Wow!  And given how crazy busy you must be to take some time to take pics and post them, well  hail

So, one more week until your big day!  You will be a beautiful bride and best wishes to you, your DH to be and your son!

Thank you everyone.

Yup, things are getting REALLY INTERESTING now.  My fiancé has a family member in "marital discord." Naturally, the fellow has ended up on MY couch for the past three nights – where else, but at the totally-stressed-out-and-normally-hyper-anyway-bride-to-be's house?  dontknow (This would be in ADDITION to the surprise guest – with stomach "issues" no less – who dropped by last evening as well. We couldn't use the bathroom, ummm, well, for several hours after she departed.  angel).

Yes, folks, this train has left the station and is careening out of control...  1087

Hey T-- first off let me say that is one spectacular wedding set--earring and necklace set I mean.  You are going to be a beautiful bride--the jewelry is just the icing on the cake. Nice job.

Now, regarding the house guests--here's what you need to do. It's Friday night...right? Have one of the two house guests take care of your son tonight. Both you and your fiance secretly plan to meet at the closest bar. Tell your guests that you have to deal with something at the stable and have your fiance tell them he has to run an errand. Take separate cars so you don't blow your cover. Then order yourselves a double martini with a olive and a twist (called a Charles Dickens)--get it? Oliver Twist.   Roll Eyes Anyhow, just relax, enjoy each other --- and DON'T talk about the wedding. You need to decompress.
Best,

Hahahaha! Oh, DJM, what a MARVELOUS suggestion!  So marvelous, in fact, that I've emailed a copy to my fiancé!  Do you realize that in the three years or more that I've known him, we've only been on a "date" twice? Once for my Birthday, and another time for dinner – someone gave us a gift certificate to a lovely restaurant, but totally in our style, we forgot to bring the certificate!

Gosh, it really IS only a week till W-day.  And, I have NOT taken Mrs. M's advice and made arrangements for a cleaning crew to come to the house. And, my couch guest doesn't show any signs of leaving any time soon. *sigh*

Really, except for my own peace of mind, the only one I'm concrened about regarding the house is my Dad, who's travelling from out of state and has never been here before.  But, he'll be staying at the wedding location about 50 minutes from here.  And he doesn't travel well. So, I'm thinking that perhaps he won't feel "up" to the ride to see the house.  If he should feel well enough, I'll just tell him that my fiancé and I are in the process of moving, and already, I've rented my house to someone and we can't get inside to see it.  dontknow

There, another problem solved.  Grin

I have a few up my sleeve. Here's one that I would love to do...(I couldn't when the kids were younger but I'm thinking it might be okay now that they are older and DW won't worry so much about them).

Anyways, I'd love to start off at a nice restaurant for drinks & dinner--then catch a plane (without DW knowing where we are going) to spend a few weeks traveling (and acting like tourists) in all the places we lived. (We lived in some very beautiful places when I was in school and afterwards when I was in the military). Here's the thing....she would never let me do this because I wouldn't pack her the "right things".  I say ...pack light and buy what you need...she'd never agree to that. (Still trying to figure out how to get around this small detail). Seriously, the last vacation we went on (it 7 days mind you), DW and DD packed 44 pairs of shoes between them!!! I am NOT KIDDING.

I fantasize about doing this someday...

Wow, I missed the pics.  How could I do that.  That pendant and earrings are
th_AWA123112 they look so beautiful together.  Now we /I  have to be patient for the wedding pics.
Pretty awesome going in the stables too.
My daughter´s best friend chose 29th February for her wedding too but about 10 years ago, I think it is a fabulous choice and will bring you lots of joy and luck.
