i agree with the photographer comment...  to us the most important part is the photographer...  remember, the photographer is the only person who will be with you from the start until the end...  make sure he has a great personality...  someone whom you want to work with...  and the photos are worth a thousand words...  they last forever...  captured moments...  so i say it's worth every penny!

Absolutely.  Pay out the wazoo for your photographer.  I didn't and will now forever regret it.  My wedding pics are awful.  Pay for the best you can afford!

My neighbor's daughter is getting married this weekend and her dress is made of the same fabric yours is. I saw it in person last night and it is breathtaking. So classic. It will not look dated in a photo because it's timeless.

i went and tried on the dress.  please keep in mind this dress was in the wrong size, the sash on mine will be ivory to match the jacket, not champagne like it is here, and i will be wearing proper under the dress garments when mine comes in.  i really love it though!

thanks ladies and gents!  the big day will be june 15, 2008-rapidly approaching as far as i am concerned!  i have been with will since june 15, 2001 so it has been a long time coming!  now that all of the details are coming together it is certainly getting more exciting.  we booked the honeymoon last night so it is def real now!  the diamonds also help...whenever i feel good and frustrated i just look at my ring and i instantly feel better!

ill be sure to post updates as they occur!

So excited for you! 15th June will whizz round in no time!

Can't get over how gorgeous that dress is though! I had a hard time picking out a wedding dress because just didn't like anything I saw - I never saw anything like that when I was looking! It's a work of art with all that detail.

You're very wise to give the veil a miss, I think. I discovered the hard way that you can't wear lipgloss with a veil on a windy day. It sticks! Grin

I hope you'll keep us posted with the planning and the run up to the big day.

I was very untraditional! I didn't sport a veil either, althought a black one would of went perfectly with my dress! I just had baby's breath in my hair!

Over the past two weeks both Moms have picked out and ordered their dresses (thank god!), and just today we booked our photographer and dj!!!  yay!!!  i am sooo glad that that is over with!  we came in at budget so we are happy with that!

it's really strange, when we started planning the wedding we thought of how much of a good thing it was that we had sooo much time but the closer we get the more we realize that we have to wait until about 3-1 months before the wedding to make a lot of the decisions....

everything is booked and set but all of the detail work really comes down to the wire...thank god next semester i only have classes once a week!

my set of wedding jewelry is almost complete as well, im only waiting for one more piece and then my whole day of sparklies will be complete!  i cant wait!
