I actually bit the bullet last night and ordered my dress!!!  It should be coming in December or January and I can't wait for it!  I ordered the dress and a satin bolero jacket to go with it for the ceremony.  I so excited!  I'm actually at the 8 months and counting at this point now.   Eek!  My next duties are to contract with a photographer and dj...I'm sure THAT will be fun!

the dress is a line cut in ivory satin with an ivory swiss dot lace overlay, it has some beaded appliqués but not to much, and the bottom is scallop edged lace with little fringes and a chapel train...i love it!  the satin band under the bust on my dress will be in ivory not champagne and the satin bolero is ivory.     

ill try to get some actual pictures on monday...

Eek!  This is so exciting Sanchica!  There is such a thrill about getting your dress and it just beautiful too.  I love the bolero jackets too - very classy.

I think the top is her dress, and the bottom is just to show the bolero.

OOH beautiful!  Will you wear the bolero while going down the isle or is it more to have something to keep you warm for the colder season? Either way it will be nice to have a beautiful jacket to compliment the wedding dress.
 My husband and I did Wedding Photography and I was always amazed to see a bride wear  a "sporty"(picture a baseball type jacket) looking jacket over her beautiful wedding gown in between the ceremony and the reception Huh?   It really did not look good in pictures either.....

im actually getting married out on a lake so i dont need to worry about any church requirements.  the jacket is more for flexibility and covering my tattoos during the ceremony than anything else, lol.  i had thought about doing the coverup makeup but i know it will never look quite right so i would rather just wear a nice jacket.  i cant wait until i get to try everything on together with the shoes and all....

Thanks for showing us the lovely dress you have chosen Sanchica you are going to look beautiful.  The tattoo part made me laugh, I had never thought of that before.

thanks guys!  will and i actually went today and checked out a photographer with a great rep and stopped by our travel agent.  the photography is wwaaayyyyy more expensive than i anticipated but it's the only part that will last forever so we will end up spending a little more than we hoped on that part.  our travel agent let us know that the cruise we want is actually going to have  promo sale day in about a week so he advised us to wait and book it then, yay!  im so excited about the honeymoon!

Awesome Sanchica.... and even if I wasn't in the Wedding Photography business,   I definately say spend the extra $$ for your memories.   The decorations/ and the fluff, most people won't remember.   The cruise sounds Awesome too!  Way to go that the travel agent told you to wait a week to save you a bit of $$!!

lol, i am not wearing a veil.  the wedding will be outside and the wind concerns me so a veil is a no.  the cruise leaves from puerto rico and goes to aruba, curacao, st.maarten, and st. thomas.   oh i just cant wait!!!
