and I was right, he didn't...LOL
October the 7th 1988 was the day that my hubby and I started dating/became a couple and every year that slips by I am always amazed at how quickly the years have rolled by. I still feel like I am 17 ... well most of the time, but I know that sooo much has happened since that day.
19 years together, marriage and children, we have been through so much together.
After good times and hard times, I'm so glad that we have fought for what we share between us. He is my soul mate.

Sass I was married for almost 32 years and my hubby had a shocking memory for anniversaries, birthdays or special dates BUT obviously your hubby ( like mine ) remembers the important things such as loving his wife and kids, supporting you through thick and thin and never walking in front of you through life but always by your side, as equals.

Thank you ladies for your lovely words.

Awestruck, 32 years is a long time, but nowhere long enough. Sharing your life with one that you love and adore is such a priviledge and often it is something I have taken for granted. Reading your story, makes me realise that I should make the most of every moment, for no matter how much you love one another, it is never a guarantee of a long life together.
