Not stealing your thread here Snoop but I love pens too. I regularly buy mine from someone who hand makes them here in Cheshire England.
At Christmas I sent some as gifts to my American friends and they loved them.
Here`s pics of  just 2 of my pens.
One is made from local wood, hand turned, polished and then fitted with whatever nibs or rollerball you want. All nibs are 18ct gold and you can basically design whatever you choose.
The other is rattlesnake skin, snakes shed their skins regularly so no creature is harmed in the making of this pen. It`s actually a beautiful finish on the pen.
These aren`t my pics, they`re Howard`s, the man who makes them but he won`t mind me using them.

Very cool!! Although, not sure about the rattlesnake skin one Smiley I had mentioned in the purse thread that I have a "thing" with crock skin... Just creeps me out really!!!

Here are Dan's two pens.  The Toscanini and the 2nd one I bought him (his Vday gift as I hadn't bought that gift yet).  I didn't buy him that perfume DJM mentioned (Santana?) but I bought him "Starwalker"

Keep in mind folks, it's 4:30 AM EST so the pics are sorta dark and blurry..

But thank you all again for the kind wishes Smiley

If those were mine, I'd have them for...let's see....3.2 seconds before I'd lose them.  I'm not kidding. Now, if I have a cheap bank promotional pen, I'd use it until every last drop of ink was gone.  Roll Eyes

NICE!!   How many pens does Dan have now?   I wish my husband liked these kinda things.    It would make gift giving a little easier..


DJM,  I am the same way with SUNGLASSES....   as much as I'd like to splurge on a nice pair,   I know better.   I lose sunglasses ALL the time!!

Luvn, I'm like you with sunglasses.  Dan surprisingly doesn't misplace things, and if he did, he'd hear me whining a mile away Smiley He has 5 or 6 pens.  Has a fountain med nib 18k but he doesn't use that as much.  He's generally a roller ball man, but these are ballpoints I believe.

Just chillin' and waiting for something brown! Smiley
