Thanks for the well wishes! It's been 14 years!! Plans for today..lets see, my youngest son has hockey practice from 5:30-6:30, and my oldest son plays at another arena from 6:30 -8pm, so I guess I will see my hubby for dinner around 9pm tonight..maybe skip dinner and go straight for dessert!  Evil It seems we are always at a hockey game. I included a pic of the family at an NHL game (Toronto Maple Leafs) last winter. I rarely get out alone with hubby anymore, sports take alot of our time, We did get rid of the kids last weekend, and I kind of got dressed up (usually in sweats at an arena), and went out for dinner, alone with DH! I will post a pic of me dressed for a night on the town, since it rarely happens!

Model? You're  joking right? The only modelling I do, is showing off the bling on my fingers! Sometimes, when the kids go away on a sleepover...(twice a year), I pretend to be a Victoria Secret model, I put those wings on and the million dollar necklace/earrings...the blonde hair is my halo, and I strut my stuff for my husband! No...seriously...no modelling, you have to be thinner, taller (I'm 5 feet 8 inches), and extremely easy on the eyes! So..are all you wonderful board members always this complimentive? If so, how about ya all come over for dinner tonite...it'll have to be after 9pm though k? LOL

LOL!  YOu and your family are just gorgeous!  Happy 14 years to you!  I am glad Madora (HI MADORA) introduced you to this forum.     Be careful though, it is contagious!    .........and after David saw that pic of you, I am quite sure he has a lovely pear shaped diamond with your name on it!   

OH and BTW,  I would be bawling when I get pulled over by a police officer and would still get a ticket...... (but then again... I don't look as gorgeous as you!) Undecided

So..what is considered middle age? I'm 38..getting close to middle age I think! I don't act it though! LOL.  I would love to see a thread started with pics of board members. Maybe a pic of you, and your favourite piece of jewelry?  It's so nice to put a face to a name, C'mon ladies, don't be shy! I will post pics of my new 1.76 carat diamond  solitaire I will be getting tomorrow or Friday (it was my anniversary gift). I know you all love seeing new sparklies...(a bit of bribery here).

A lot of the girls here don't like to post pics of themselves for security reasons, Blondie.  Many of the posters have many thousands of dollars of diamonds that they wear everyday everywhere and so would rather remain very much anonymous!  But pics of sparklies?  Oh heck yeah!  We'll post those all day long!

I never thought of that Diamondjunkie...good point, and I guess it was a bad idea. I will still post my new ring when I get it in a couple of days! I will keep looking at the beautiful pieces..however, I noticed alot of pics have been deleted when they are older than 4 months or so? Bummer!

Yeah even we think that's a bummer!  The pics were stored on our server and eventually we had so many taking up so much space that it was making the forum drag.  The best way to post pics is to use www.photobucket.com and that way the pics are not stored on our server so they will stay in the threads indefinitely.  Looking forward to seeing lots of sparkly pics Blondie!
