My yummy cake to be 

First is my pendant, my former engagement ring. It has a pink tourmaline center stone.

Then we have my new upgrade. The little s scrolls on the side there I'll look into getting them customed into rose gold to match with the bezel.

I really like it. Later I want to get a better stone b/c my center stone isn't one of David's eye clean I1's. It has one bit of carbon that bugs me, but really that's me being nit picky.

I know it's 4.2 mm in diameter, I asked the shop to weight it but they forgot 
Since I see the carbon after examining it hard I'd say it's an I1 and the color is H-I range.

In person I have to say the rose gold bezel seems to bring out a bit of the warmth in the diamond itself. (It was originally set in white gold prongs)

BTW: My fiance has grounded me from wearing my new pride and joy till the wedding. January 4th hurry up!  So he's the one that took the pics and those are NOT my man hands. 

GracefulLion I'd like a messy updo but I can't pick. I'm thinking of starting a new thread and have you all help me out! I always wear my hair down but I want my hair up, but not so up it doesn't look like me. (if that made sense.)

EVERYTHING is just beautiful.  I am SO excited for you Lollipop! I especially love your ring... so romantic and elegant. You will receive many compliments, I'm sure. I think wearing your hair up, either "messy" or classically coiffed will look fabulous and really add "punch" for your special day.  As far as nerves go, butterflies are to be expected.  If he's the right guy, you know it.  Now, if you're REALLY unsure, then, take a day for yourself to sort your feelings out.  Or talk to someone you trust to listen and, if needed, give you unbiased advice.  There is no "wrong" way to feel.  This is your life,  your future.  Just follow your heart... you'll be fine.
