Hmmm this could be hard to describe through forum post...

1) Stick your hands out in front of you

2) Pick the multiplication problem you want to solve - we'll do 9x4

3) Since we're doing 9x4, we will put down the fourth finger in line, starting with the pinky on our left hand.  So, we will put down our left pointer finger.

4) You will now see the answer to the problem.  Count the number of fingers to the left of the finger you put down - in our case this is three.  We now know that the answer is in the thirties.  Then count to the right of the finger you put down - in our case there are six fingers.  This means the answer is 36.

It works all the way up to 9x10.

Sounds a lot more complicated when you type it out.... It's quite quick really.
