Yes, I am taking the plunge into the warm, enveloping waters of marital bliss.


After all these years as a bachelor, I was graced with some amazing luck.
I asked in Mexico, and the woman of my dreams said...YES!!!!!
She's smart, adventurous, beautiful, practical, funny, bi-lingual, well educated, cultured, she's got great taste in clothes, she's organized, loyal, incredibly sexy, and she's even shorter than me.... she's amazing!

It will take a while arranging the wedding, but I wanted share the news with  the people whom I feel the most comfortable.
I've told a lot of people that have called- but I'm very happy, and wanted to share it with people who I have not spoken to!

Now, anyone know where can I find a nice place to buy an engagement ring?

Well... As to where you can find a nice engagement ring...

I think that you will want to look at Zales.  Or Ulta, the diamond outlet store. Find a nice stone that is "guaranteed" as a Superlative, Ultimate, Ideal-osity Amazing-ness Cut, as described by JustKidsPlayingHouse Laboratories, Inc.

If that proves to be too expensive, or too much trouble, then check out Costco.  I hear that you will get a really great deal there -- maybe even a one-carat stone that has 83% depth and only just a very few cracks and black spots (mostly drilled and filled).

Hehehehe...I have a feeling that David's fiance would prefer something classic and slightly modest.

As for the wedding day...how fun would it be to be a bride draped in diamonds?! How about that pink and yellow diamond necklace! I saw a video where a woman was marrying a very wealthy man (I think he owned Krispy Kreme donuts..YUM...Ok, pregnant lady distracted by donuts...) anyway.. they were married in the mansion where the Great Gatsby was filmed (stunning!) and he surprised her by sending a rep from Harry Winson with a loaner diamond choker for her to wear for the wedding. Me, I had sand between my toes at my wedding in Mexico so...no diamond chokers for me!  Smiley
