Sorry I'm so late to your thread DJ, but CONGRATS occasion16 on your 10th Anniversary! That is a MAJOR one! Nowadays it's rare to see couples stay together. I'm so happy for you. I know I'm late to this. Congrats on 10 years DJ! That's a HUGE feat these days! You guys make such a lovely couple.

Hubby and I wil be celebrating 10 years together (not marriage, 4 years of marriage) later this year.

Hey tea, so you were together 6 years before you got married? This year is my tenth anniversary too! But we were together actually 11. We were engaged for over a year before we did the big deed!

BR: Yeah, we were together a long time before we got married. We met in '96 during undergrad but didn't start dating until '97. We got married after he completed his Master's program and I finished my PhD program. It was just too hectic with both of us being in school to be getting married.

For our 10th anniversary, he told me I can get something from David  yahoo but he has not given me a budget yet. We need to figure out how much the renovations are going to cost first. Tomorrow (Sunday), we're going to most likely place our order for the kitchen cabinets and granite counters. We still need to get new hardwood floors on 2 floors, 3 new bathrooms, 4 new bedrooms... the list seems endless.

I do have more good news. Some of you know that I started looking for a FT job a few weeks ago. Well, I accepted a position as a clinical supervisor!

Gotta go help make dinner.

Tea that's great!!!! Gosh, that's a lot of to-do's huh!!! But it'll be worth it and what a great feeling once they're done.
