Well I can't quite believe it but today is my 10th wedding anniversary!  DH and I have had a lovely quiet day: we took the kids to school and then slept until lunchtime - we haven't done that in YEARS!  Then we ran a few errands before picking up the kids from school and heading to the duck pond for a family walk.  We all had dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant and drove over to the BEST ice-cream shop in the world for dessert.  It's such a neat little shop - even though it's in the center of town, you feel like you're on vacation when you set foot in it.  You can almost imagine a souvenir shop with buckets and spades next door and a beach at the end of the street!

All in all we've had a lovely day. And yes, we would definitely do the last 10 years all over again given the chance.   love3

Happy 10th Anniversary DJ! I hope you enjoy the next ten as much as the first! It sounds like you had a real nice day! And sleeping in till noon....what a treat! It's funny how the little things like sleeping in can mean so much. Especially when you have little ones to keep up with! I'm glad that you and your hubby have made this day a special one.

LOL!  No we definitely don't look the same - I would never have posted it if we did!  Seriously, I have aged my husband considerably in 10 years..........I am not the easiest person to live with!   Grin

Thanks for the compliments on the pic.  The wedding pics that were taken at the wedding were downright awful - I never look at them.  This one was a free sitting at a local photo studio that we actually left our reception to go to - I can't tell you how glad I am that we went!
