Good grief! Bows! They seem to breed like... well, like coathangers.

She looks happy enough, maybe she never knew what the back of that dress actually looked like? Evil

At first I liked her dress....

then seeing more and, well... that is a lot of bows.  And a lot of BIG bows.  I like the idea in the front, if they didn't get to be so large at the bottom.

We used to have a pink crochet poodle version somewhere. Urgh, these things were hideous!

Well, there are upholstered Marquises, Duchesses (Brisées), Queens, Shepherdesses and now also upholstered Princesses. Nothing new under the sun.

At this moment in time I`m probably driving David nuts because I`m trying to find a pendant and matching earrings which will look perfect with my dress.
The dress has minimal decoration on it, just 3 crystal flowers down one side and when I tried on the sample dress they kept bringing out ornate crystal necklaces and earrings for me to try on. I hated them all and I resemble a well lit Christmas tree in blingy costume jewellery!
I want something simple, in white gold, with diamonds and in a flower shape, with matching earrings. Not too big but big enough to notice.
I`m not having a veil or a tiara but a simple crystal headband with a crystal flower on it so whichever pendant and earrings I choose will have to fit in with the " theme ".
Helpppppppppp  Sad

I love the second pic, Lynne - that's a really nice look. Matching flowers fixed and on leberbacks would make lovely earrings too.

I was thinking the exact same thing.  This would be a lovely set that you can wear at other times as well.  I love that about my pears from my wedding.  For slightly nicer occasions I can pull them out and enjoy them.

Lynne- whatever you chose will look lovely. I like the one in yellow gold. It would look even better in white.

I just saw these pics of what a UK newspaper speculates Kate Middleton will look like in a Gypsy wedding dress. The Look a like is pretty good.

Lol I can`t see Miss Middleton in a pink dress but I`d love to see the Royal family`s faces if she did. Our Royal family are notoriously staid and Royal brides, especially a future Queen will be expected to satisfy Court " standards ".
I once read that the Courtiers acted more Royal than the Royals themselves and private secretaries, advisors and other suchlike people make for a stuffy very formal atmosphere.
Princess Di supposedly had big issues with them all, as did Sarah Ferguson.
I`d expect Kate`s wedding dress won`t have bare shoulders nor frills nor be classed as " sexy " or revealing in any way and will probably have sleeves or a jacket of some description. I hope she`s been allowed to choose what she likes instead of choosing what she thinks the Royals will like. I reckon they`d be a tough nut to crack and I don`t envy her marrying into their family.
