Pleased? I think over-the-top thrilled. You live in the UK, so these will be really unique there. Those are gorgeous cuts. Just gorgeous.

Hey, Pip,

What you should've done after the shoot was tell her how exhausting it was and that the stylist had all these quirky ideas about the campaign--that you didn't enjoy a minute of it.

On second thought--the diamonds will definitely work. Good idea.

LOL Mikla!!!  If you don't mind GiaG, can I take this one?

Mikla, GG's BF is a physician. Many times during the day we are called upon by Pharamaceutical Reps who are detailing new products. The pharmacuetical industry is notorius for hiring the most beautiful people that can dress to the 10's (look great in clothes) and are usually female. Most of them look like they stepped off the pages of a fashion catalog.
Anyhow, GG is a pharm rep herself. She knows that these beautiful women are detailing her BF so she is referring to her colleagues as ho's. LOL!!! (I am sure she has NOTHING to worry about!!!!)

Very well said, DJM.  Although, it is too hot here to be all beautiful ALL the time.   HA HA HA! I digress...(I am kidding.)
Plus, who has money for clothes when you are buying diamonds?
They're not all ho's.  90% are...NO, I kid... there is one ho in particular.  I am not sure she is really a ho HO...but she is a troubled, troubled girl.   She asks him things like "Do you think I got my breast implants large enough?"   AGGGHHH!!!!  Pip send me those earrings!   No on second thought send me pictures from that photoshoot and I will photoshop my head in the girl's place.  I will show it to him and say "Oh, I model on the side."   boobban

NO!  IM! He was really embarrassed when she asked.  He said "I cannot comment on things like that."  OK...she is a ho!

OK...I have to tell you another one.  She got her belly button pierced and filmed it for some stupid reason.  She asked him the other day if he wanted to watch the video of her getting it pierced.  He was grossed out and said "it is going to get infected."   Evil Evil

Again, how does that come up in conversation? (why doesn't stuff like that happen to me?--j/k. Actually I know why... because DW works with me).

She said "Obviously, I was busy over Christmas break.  Do you think I got them big enough?"  He does not pay attention that much, but his female coworker reports back everything.  HA!  It is good to have someone in your corner.

DJM!  I know you...you would not allow some tart make your DW feel insecure.

OMG GG, Did she really IM him this?!  Holy Cow. I think I'd have to take her out behind the barn and open up a can of whup-a$$ on her.

Oh hang on, my Texan roots are showing again. I was born in North Carolina, but spent a big part of my formative years in Texas and those two personalities are always battling for control: genteel southern lady sensibilities vs. Texan no BS justice.

I don't think there are many barns in NYC anyway, are there?

Sorry Pip...I seemed to have highjacked your thread.  IHDP!  No she said this IN PERSON.  He is an Internal Med-IM physician.   I am in the South and there are some barns here.  I have a friend, who is a total redneck...and she told me what to do.  I think I let her know what was what...but she is CRAZY, so there is no telling what she thinks.

Crazy lady! Actually, mental health problem lady, I fear. Not the sort who would be successful in capturing her prey from the sounds of it. Way too unbalanced! I can't decide if the lady is more shallow than most or if she's deep(ly disturbed). Either way, I don't think you'd want to worry too much, GIAGirl!

Oh jeepers! I hadn't SEEN all this stuff.

GiaGirl, I definitely understand your frustration with the Psycho Pharm Tart. I've had my own experiences with the local unbalanced Farm Tart (my DH's ex), and it doesn't seem to matter how people react, she's gonna do what she's gonna do.  How about a tin of cookies shaped and decorated like breasts and male genitalia?

*SIGH* All you can do is be amused by your Psycho Pharm Tart's antics.  Unfortunately, she won't stop, I'm afraid, at least until someone formally complains, she is transferred, or one of her inplants bursts... But, I do think it is best that you not get down to her level and take her seriously. Laughing at her is your best revenge.

And meanwhile, I for one, am looking forward to hearing more stories.  Hey, like a trashy summer novel, she's entertaining! Grin

Oh, I almost forgot: GiaGirl, I do understand how this type of stuff can really wear you down.  And it IS upsetting.  So, I DO think your man needs to stay on top of things, try to help you feel better, and come through with a new DBL sparklie or two.  Grin

Yup. We do.  But, there is a flip side – we also keep all the dead threads going.  Grin

Plus, given that the male to female ratio in CDI is currently 1:7, if a thread is hijacked, chances are pretty good that it's a female hijacker. Besides, Pip, this wasn't really hijacking at all.  You began this thread and said that you purchased the ERs as a gift for your GF because you had been – a-hem – too-close-for-her-comfort with another woman.  We're just sharing similar experiences. And, I believe we've confirmed that you did the right thing by trying to make ammends with the sparklies. Are you unhappy about that?

This is a rich opportunity for you to see how the minds on "the other side" work... Cherish the Gift.  angel

I think I must be getting old  Undecided
I`ve read this thread through and it all seem kind of insecure and paranoid. If a bloke or a woman`s going to be unfaithful then they will be, no matter how attractive their partner may be or if they have an ego bigger than a house and seem to want to prove they can still " pull " the opposite sex.
At the end of the day the World is full of the opposite sex, big ones, small ones, ugly ones, beautiful ones and devious ones but it all rests in the hands of the person we love and the trust we place in them.
Doctors examine naked bodies every day, photographers photograph them, PA`s meet them, businessmen work with them, teachers teach them, all kinds of folks come across them, flirty, tarty or not.
I say give your guys and gals a break, don`t try to fix something which isn`t even broken, have enough confidence in yourself to be secure and IF it`s fate to be hurt, let down or betrayed then stick your nose in the air and walk away shouting goodby sucker because they didn`t deserve you in the first place.
Just my 2 cents worth, mind you, as I said, maybe I`m getting old or maybe I`ve always been one of those people who trusts easily but forgives badly and if I`m hurt then wild horses can`t make me look backwards, only forwards.
