I have been a fan of Diamonds by Lauren for probably around 2 years now.  so far I have, unfortunately, not had a chance to purchase a DBL piece for myself, but for the past several months I have been helping my brother-in-law search for 'the' ring.  After much deliberation he chose a .58 cushion cut K VS1 set in an 18kwg Daussi split shank.  He and his love could not be more happy with his choice.  Once the ring was on her hand it looked like it was made just for her, and it certainly looks like a ring which would cost 3x what they paid!!
David was the most incredibly kind and attentive jeweler I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and even though the purchase was not large the service was absolutely phenomenal. 
I recommend DBL to everyone I meet who has the slightest interest in jewelry, I know no matter what the purchase, David and co. will never steer anyone wrong.

SV: you are right, it does look like something truly "made to measure". And every time I see a Daussi stone worn, I am amazed at how they manage to look so large and so white.

Thanks GIAGirl, i love shopping for other people, so it was a total joy for me!  Smiley  i just wish i had long skinny fingers like my new sister-in-law, i'm sure anything from DBL would have looked great on her hand.
