i first fell across DBL a few years ago on ebay.  i saw their huge colored diamonds and just thought, whoa.  a few months ago i was again ebaying away, searching for an asscher cut diamond.  i was reintroduced to DBL during this search.  their ebay ad was the only one with real pictures and i quickly jumped over to their website.  from there i found the forum and i have been hooked ever since.  i began posting questions and chatting with others members about their shared obsession.  they graciously helped :cough: enabled :cough: me make my first purchase, a 1.06 asscher that is L color and vs1 in clarity.  they helped ease my mind about the color and even to select a setting.  i wanted a pink diamond halo but was low on money after buying my diamond so DBL set my stone in a simple lucida setting....

when i got my ring i was floored by the stones beauty, and i couldnt wait to get my legacy halo setting.  i literally couldnt wait, i had my ring for 1 month and sent it back for the halo! i scraped up the money and went for it.  i ended up going for the all white halo for a moe traditional look.  well, my ring arrived this morning and it was worth every single penny!

i honestly could not be happier with the quality of the jewelry, the service of everyone at DBL, and the fun that i have here on the forum.  so many of the members say that they have found their jeweler for life, and i am one of them!

the pics below show my asscher in it's first setting and then below in it's new and permanent home.  just gorgeous!

Very beautiful ring! Smiley

I love the halo look.  It has a classic antique-y style and I like the look of a frame around the stone.  Cool
