I'm  Scottish. We're known for being a little, well, cautious with our money. I don't buy online. Ever.

Except from DBL. I did my research, found some very positive feedback on various web forums / diamond sites. If you're at all unsure, do a google search.

You will find an impressive reputation. From my experience, it is very well deserved.

Buying my diamond was fun. It was also easy and I got something that exceeded my expectations. No way I could have got something like this, at a comparable price in a store. I worked with David, who listened to me, advised me (on the basis of what I told him I wanted, not what he wanted to sell) and, within a short time, sent me this. 

I love it. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They will get you what you want and you will enjoy the experience. I did!

Buying online can be a scary thing, especially with a diamond purchase, but because DBL has their diamonds IN STOCK, ready to show you pictures, movies, etc., of the actual stone speaks volumes.  I found DBL by doing searches as well, and I second what you said!!! And your pendant is beautiful!!!

congratulations mrs mitchell! i myself am in the process of buying the 1.64 EC  J/VS2 pink halo ring. i sent david a deposit last week and hopefully will be sporting my new engagement ring within the week. i too have always been leary of spending alot of money online, but i found DBL and feel pretty much like family. i will let you all know how it turns out and show you a pic of my new ring.

Great testimonial and I love your beautiful pear pendant!  I agree that buying jewelry online may seem daunting until you've dealt with DBL-they make the experience very pleasant

Just wanted to update this testimonial. When I bought the pear pendant, I mentioned that I had an oval pendant that wouldn't get a lot of wear - I asked David if he could reset it for me and oh, did he ever! It was turned into the most beautiful ring. I don't know what they did to my little diamond, but it looks stunning now!

I trust this company implicitly - that's not something I would say lightly. I hope that anyone lurking and wondering whether to buy will find some encouragement in these testimonials. Another update, which I should have posted before now.

I recently ordered a 0.25 asscher pendant as a sweet 16 birthday gift. I have to say, I was blown away by that little stone. The same DBL quality, the same exceptional standard of cut, the same customer service and the same fast, reliable shipping. I'd heard that asschers look small for their weight, but I can honestly say that this one looks pretty substantial to me. A nice gift for my God Daughter, but also a nice enough size to make me want to wear one myself!

If you're maybe wondering whether to buy or not, I'd recommend a little asscher pendant if you'd like to make a smaller, try out purchase. You won't be disappointed.

It really is gorgeous. Never thought I'd be so impressed by 0.25ct of diamond. While I'm sure the return policy is excellent, I'm afraid I still don't have any use for it!

I'm so  I could die. That is to die for. Perfect and so much sparkle. Now THAT's a diamond band.  I think it would also be a great wedding ring all by itself like you have it on your hand. I mean that I don't think it needs anything else. It is so, so, so gorgeous.

Ok, again this is a little overdue, but I'd like to update this thread again, with a testimonial on my most recent purchase.

I'm hoping this is helpful to anyone wondering about making a purchase. Most vendors can please a customer and get a great review once, but pleasing returning customers over and over is a little different, I think. That's what gives me confidence in a vendor, hearing that people shop with them again.

David recently put together a little pear cut and RB necklace. I was on a pretty tight budget, but he found beautiful stones and had the piece made to the highest possible standard of workmanship. I couldn't fault this necklace. It feels very special.
