When she was interviewed after singing at one of the inaugural balls, she was so charming-- teary-eyed and excited. I was tearing up a little myself, that she could still be so awed by her role after having accomplished so much in her young life. I turned to DH, sitting beside me, to share my perspective. Before I could offer my thoughtful insight about the unique power of this moment in history, he sighed, and said, "She's sooo pretty."
