My obsession with all things diamond started young. My mother reminds me often that the first thing I reached for as an infant was her best friend's engagement ring. And, from the time I was very young I knew that I wanted to own not just any old diamond, but a yellow diamond. (At the risk of dating myself I totally blame Burt Reynolds for this as the first one I ever saw was the engagement ring that he gave to Loni Anderson. Yes folks, I am that old.)
Fast forward to a few years ago... I discovered DBL on eBay and often spent HOURS looking at all of the gorgeous yellow diamonds on offer. My husband was forced numerous times to come over to the computer and look at the latest sparklie to catch my eye. When we married I had a brown marquise in my engagement ring, and I was always sad that it wasn't yellow. The poor diamond, everyone else told me how unique and pretty it was, and I hated it!
Finally, about a year and a half ago, my husband graciously allowed me to buy myself the yellow diamond engagement ring I had been wanting all along. That was my lovely 3 stone Y-Z cushion which I have loved every day since then. And, now I am the proud new owner of a 3.09 S-T light yellow emerald cut which is just phenomenal! I cannot say enough about how beautiful all of my DBL pieces are!!!
Throughout the past year and a half David, Marc and now Sandra have been nothing other than helpful and gracious. I genuinely appreciate and trust David's opinion on stones. So, I would just like to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to David and DBL!
