Fantstic! A well cut heart shape is soooo beautiful and they don't come better than David's.

I'm envious (in a nice way).

Can't wait to see a pic. I'm relying on David or Cori for this, since I know you'll never get round to it! Grin

Eeek!  I can't wait to see the pendant!

I feel fortunate to have been able to see your heart ring in person, and it's such a stunner!

Awestruck,
Your earrings and ring are beautiful; can't wait to see the pendant.  You are going to have a fantastic collection of diamond hearts. Enjoy wearing your sparklies; they are truly special. Heart

As everyone knows, I am Internet spatially challenged.  Would you please provide the mm sizes for your heart shaped diamonds?  Thanks.

Sorry Mikla and OCD I wasn`t being rude not posting the stats. To be honest I wasn`t even sure of them myself !
Yes yes I`m one of those strange people who never asks about stats, I only ever look at something and my mind tells me if I either do or don`t like it.
The new heart diamond is E colour, Si1 and .47ct so David tells me. Plus I`m having RB diamonds all the way around the necklace, about 10 of them I think, all bezel set in white gold. I just leave it all to David and haven`t been disappointed yet. I`m rubbish at bothering about finer details but thankfully David knows me well enough by now lol. I`d never trade up or sell anything so when I buy it I keep it for life, thankfully everything seems made to last a lifetime.
My ring was approx 1.16ct I think and the earrings approx .88 tcwt I think but bezels make them face up bigger. I have little knuckle space so anything much above 1ct means I can`t bend my fingers. Dorothy ( my other heart ring with a white centre heart and 2 intense yellow heart sidestones, is bigger but the stones spread across my finger so I can wear it comfortably. Oh to have long elegant fingers !
I`m sure the necklace will match perfectly with my other items. I love everything I have from David, all of my heart diamonds, my RB platinum studs, my sapphire studs and diamond and sapphire pendant, my earring jackets, my twin yellow pear bypass ring and my yellow radiant halo ring.

I usually go for the square stones myself, but I am very enamored with hearts for some reason.  Your collection is gorgeous, Lynne!!  I can't wait to see how the necklace turns out.  For those of you who may not have seen Dorothy, here's a lovely pic.

The pendant is going to be spectacular!  You'll be able to wear it with everything and will be a great addition to your collection of hearts.

Mikla - Dorothy is a knockout!  Is she yours?  I must have missed it.

Annie, you beat me to it!  I was going to ask if they were hearts!

Since you ladies are familiar with leverbacks, tell me, does the weight of the stones and mountings pull the earring downward so that the stone faces more toward the shoulder than straight forward?

Yep Annie they`re Rb`s.
I love leverback earrings and I have a pair of Art Deco style costume ones which I adore and wear at every opportunity. One day ( when I`m rich enough ) I`m going to send them to David and ask him to make me an identical pair but in real diamonds ... I live in hope that day will come !

Leverbacks are super-comfortable and gorgeous.  Very easy to wear.

I'm living vicariously through you, Lynne.  We will need more details!

I haven't really had that experience, but maybe it would be more the case if the stones were larger?  Mine are about 1/3 cttw.

Thanks for the earshot.  That leverback is hanging just as I like them.  I saw a pair of leverbacks that had a narrower u-shape where they went through the ear and then widen out, and I think that's the secret to keeping anysize stone in the forward facing position.

I had been a stud only person for 25-years, then small hoops, now 'threaders', and I'm  looking for good fitting leverbacks.  I'll give DBL's a try.  Thanks again.

Lynne,
Congratulations on ALL your sparkly goodies.  BTW, Dorothy is STILL one of my very favorites.  That center heart is to die for. The sides... icing on the cake.

Please, you MUST drag out a camera and spoil us all wih some COLLECTION photos when all your goodies are finally at home together! I can't wait to see the pendant; it sounds classic and simply gorgeous.

LOL Jen
Thanks for the offer of photographs. My jewellery won`t be going to Scotland with me because my 2 year old grand daughter thinks it`s for playing with !
The last time she came here she thought my DIAMOND rings were for rolling along the table or for hanging from her dolly`s ears.
Two year olds and expensive jewellery are a bad idea lol.
