Sorry for the delay, didn't get home until late.

My camera battery was dead so these are on a partial charge.  It didn't focus well and the colour is pretty washed out, but you get the idea.

This is with my .75 brownie for size comparison

Congratulation. It looks soo good on your hand. I especially love the plain shank. Very elegant! May I ask what ring size you have?

Oh very very pretty!  Please more photos and tell me about that setting.  I really like it a *lot*!!!  There are times when I think I want a halo and other times I think I am doing a 3 stone.  A halo like that is perfect to me!

Love the E-W set and the Winston type shank.  Very elegant!  Congratulations!

Please more handshots!  I hope you can get some close ups - my eyes aren't what they used to be. Roll Eyes

Your new ring looks fabulous on your hand. I love that you went "outside the box" with the EW and weightier setting. I agree, more photos are necessary. Meanwhile, I hope that you enjoy it for years to come.

Thanks! 6.5 and my fingers are a bit on the long side.  I tend to wear thicker rings because dainty shanks get a little lost.

Thanks so much! I will try for more photos over the weekend.  I need better light to get closeups with my craptastic camera.

Deets on the ring....

The shank is plain, polished and 4mm all around.  Kind of a traditional setting just a little thicker.

The claws are shaped and in yellow gold.  If I can get a close up, you can see the difference between the ball style on the Brownie and the claws on this one.  Very similar to Daussi claws.

The stone measures 7.08 x 5.67 and the halo is about 1.5mm wide.  It is a light yellow, enough to know it is yellow but still quite subtle.  The colour seems to come out more in fluorescent light rather than natural which may have to do with the med. blue fluor.

I like the thicker shanks personally.  I even have short fingers and I still love it.  Though for me I'd probably need it to be 3mm or so instead.  But on my fingers that's wide Wink

It really looks so pretty though.  I do love the claws on this as well.  *sigh* now I want a halo again LOL

Shiba

I can't believe how beautiful your new sparkly is especially on your lovely hands, I am serious problems deciding what ring I am going for now seeing all these beautiful creations that David comes up with, I will just have to add another one to my wish list, after all a girl can't have to many sparkly things can we.

I got a couple that show the detail a bit better, though it makes the center look rather dull and lifeless.  IRL it is very crushed ice looking and bright.

This one is very close to life size, just a smidge smaller.

Just beautiful, shiba!  It's really gorgeous.  I'm loving the E-W setting and the contrast of the halo to the plain shaft even more.

I know what you mean that the camera doesn't catch the sparkle.  I'm horrible with lighting, and that's what it's all about, so I can believe how glorious it must be IRL.
