Ok, got the go-ahead for this thread, since I'm not posting links or telling where these were actually from.

Repeating what I said on my prior thread:
"... Let's just say there was some extremely premium jewelry pieces at some VERY extreme premium prices I managed to snap some shots of.

Not one had anything over what DBL does, quality, size, or "importance-wise" mind you, IMHO. Definitely way overshot on price though."

Enjoy!

Not sure what shape this pendant is - kind of octagonal oval-ish

Dang!  You got a lot of nice shots!  I'm surprised by the number of ECs.  Do you think they're becoming more popular?

That oval is tiny!  Good thing it has a halo to make it take up more finger space!  Wink Grin

PINKS!  Doesn't show up well here, but the variation in the pink colors were very interesting - some more peachy, some more pinky. Then there looked to be some from the Argyle tender perhaps, intense purple/pinks.

I didn't get a photo, but there were some amazing honker asscher earrings too.

I LOVED this custom halo - alternating orange spessarrites and ruby bagettes as halo.

IHADP, thank you!  I've already scrolled up and down twice... I'm SURE I'll be at it all day.  I must choose my favorite, you know (although the pendant has my vote for now). I'm surprised at the ARMY of Asscher halos... I guess there is no question regarding what is "in"... halos, for sure.  Did store staff know that you were taking these shots? Or, were you using your spy cam?  Cool

We're sickly great!  Or greatly sick.  Hmmmmmm..... oh who cares, we're happy aren't we?

Did store staff know that you were taking these shots? Or, were you using your spy cam?  Cool

Neither T. These came from two different stores. I walked around snapping away right out in the open like a clueless tourist until staff told me to cut it out! At which point I apologized profusely and put the camera away.  Was surprised at one shop how long it took until they spotted me, while the other "caught" me almost immediately and the giant security guy followed me around for awhile.

The sales lady there seemed extremely miffed at my obviously low class cluelessness.  I was highly entertained by the whole thing, frankly, since I set out to snap away until I got hollered at, LOL!

Of course I didn't have on ANY of my sparkie goodies either since I was traveling; wonder if she'd have looked down her nose any less if I'd worn, say... CHICHI?

That case with the custom halo was in a section of colored gemstones, and there were all sorts of incredible colors in there...rubies, emeralds and sapphires of course, but also some amazing orange spessarites and other incredibly vivid colors.
I think that one to the side of the halo was a ruby, but I'm not certain. The halo pic was the last one I snapped before getting busted or I'd have kept going in that case awhile for sure!

Just realized I forgot to post the picture of the BLUE!

I was surprised at the saturation of the blue color, frankly, and I never imagined this brand to carry treated stones, but I wonder about this one. I didn't ask. I was trying to take more pictures w/o being noticed.

What do you all think?

faintthud Uh-oh. I'd really LOVE to have that ring!  What a gorgeous color and cut. DL, is this a sapphire?  If so, heat is such a "normal" process for sapphire that I can't imagine why a merchant, even a frou frou one, wouldn't carry a beautiful stone like this, DL. Gosh, I couldn't have made it out of the store without trying this one on!

It was in the DIAMOND case, sorry, I didn't make that clear. I had the impression it was a blue diamond, but it looked like possibly a treated blue diamond, which is what surprised me...
