OK, CH's sapphire is MINE!!!!  (though I would respectfully bow out for Robin, as I know it is a true love thing with sapphires for her. . .)

Well, sniffs Piglette, IHADP, you must see that GL cannot claim two at a time in any event, "made" or "glimmer in CH's eye."  She is obviously required to give up her  [completely theoretical and unenforceable, but nevertheless oddly satisfying]  "dibs" on one of the two pieces, no matter what.  Final disapproving sniff.

   Is it fair to dib on something that isn't even made?  Do we need "dibbing rules" here? 

And I am sorry to say that it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, however not theoretically impossible, that the sapphire "The Bronx Blue" as it has been officially named...will ever pass from my hands....  Although, I did say that about ChiChi...

The really good part?  DH asked me to save a pic of CH's new sapphire-- I really think he might get me one (read: let me choose one) for my 40th-- and Lord knows I'll need something really sparkly as consolation for THAT!

OH Robin, you should see the oval sapphire he just got in! I am still kicking myself for not getting a picture of it! I think I was in awe and drooling! It is not as big as the sapphire CH got but the blue is just the same! The color and clarity is something to marvel at!
