Congratulations!

Have you noticed the cut? It's pretty unusual, with 16 pavillion facets (though God only knows whether they all count as "mains")

Lots of pavillion facets (which results in a very "crushed ice" look) and excellent crystal.

How are you setting it? Yellow or white? "Solitaire" or halo?

I look at the stones on this site every day and I have to say, that's one of the most beautiful I've seen yet. You have a good eye!

Trinkette will like this one, it must tick her crystal box. I love the facet pattern and the beautiful soft pure colour. Love it.

I can't wait to see this one set, it's just so lovely.

You are correct, Mrs. M, I DO like this one... very, very much. In fact, I wish I'd seen this diamond IRL because I LOVE the cut and beautiful transparency. A memorable, unique, subtle beauty.

Congratulations, SV, you've got yourself a classy little sparkler. Great choice.  notworthy

Did I say I LOVE the cut?  Wink

Thanks so much everybody!  I'm too excited.  I love 'crystal' but I hadn't known how to define the quality until Trink had mentioned it on a different thread.  I can't believe how lucky I am.

Grats, SV!  That's a pure beauty - I'm glad to find another S-T lover  in the bunch.

My first love from DBL was the R1945, and is still available, much to my surprise, but I think I like your corners better.  It's going to be a stunning pendant.

Oh my goodness... how funny is that!  This is the other stone I was looking at!!!  We must really have similar tastes!

That is an absolutely beautiful stone!  I am sure it will make a beautiful pendant!  I cannot wait to see pictures of the final product Smiley

wow ah2, R1945 is really amazing!  bit out of my budget, but man, would it were that money were no object... the color seems a bit more intense than mine, but that could be the medium blue fluorescence.

When I first saw her, I was in the market for an e-ring.  With Li'l BLOOO in hand, she's out of my budget now, as well, SV; but I can always dream!  This is the second set of pictures she's had.  The prior set shows her more in the colorless end of the spectrum than the current series, but the fluor, or lack thereof, is definitely going to play a role in sunlight.  Regardless, I think she's be gorgeous with a light to medium blue sapphire halo or baguette surround.  Every time I see her, I think of early spring and crocuses.  I really do like the pale, delicate yellows.

Here here on the pale yellow, I can appreciate how striking 'intense' and 'vivid' colored stones are, but to me the paler colors just appeal to my eye more.  The lower cost is just an enormous bonus to me.

I admit I feel the same way.  I used to think I wanted the vivids, but these lighter soft buttery yellows really appeal to my eye a lot!  Obviously I love the cost too Wink
