Ah2, that reminds me I never did take on all by herself did I?  I remembered to do the band but not her.

We might have sun tomorrow... for a while at least.

I'm still so excited by her.  My friends tonight loved it too.  They couldn't believe it was the same stone.

I'm really in awe by the beauty Smiley

I really like how it turned out!  It was a lovely ring before, but now it looks just fab-u-lous.

I am a HUGE bezel person!!!!!!  I love the whole set up now with the diamond band.   It made Sunny "pop."

I took some more photos while I had a bit of sunshine.  If I get a chance I'll upload them.  It's going to be crazy today.

I still cannot get over the color of Sunny.  At times she blends in perfectly with the color of the gold.  Other times she looks way more yellow, and only very very very rarely she looks lighter.   To me she looks way darker than Y-Z in color.

I really also cannot get over how rich this looks.  It really looks like a very "important" ring on my hand.  Not obscenely large, but it really looks significantly larger on my hand than the .93 points that she is.

I don't have calipers, but I roughly measured the outside bezel to be about 9-9.5mm x 8-8.25mm  That's pretty substantial on my finger.

Sounds like a honkin' ring to me (Uh, what's the width of your finger?).  I bet you can't stop looking at it. Can't wait to see some of the pics in sunshine.  Hurry!

Plumbers just left and son is going to bed soon.  After I grab lunch I'll work on the sun photos.  We did have a moment of sunshine a little while ago which is nice, but not long enough for me to enjoy.  Since I had a boy I watch over as well, I only wore the platinum ring.  I have a tendency to only wear one ring while at home.

My finger width is between 12 & 13mm wide when not swollen.  Normally a 4.25 should be closer to 15mm wide but I can't go below about a 4 due to my knuckle and I have some "webbing" between my ring and middle finger which doesn't add width but just flesh I have to fit around.  I hope that makes sense.

I'll work on the photos soon.  I'm just tired LOL

Photobucket was being a pain so I decided to watch some of the Royal Wedding instead Wink

I like this first photo.  It was taken away from sunshine, but I love how the stone blends with the setting.  They really all look the same color

Who says Radiants don't get big flashes of fire

I still stink at getting fire with my point and shoot so I had quite a few more but they were all blurry Grin

Platinum band shows a lot of fire too

A little sparkle, fire and shine

Now this photo shows how shiny the setting is.  We had some full out sunshine and honestly I can hardly look at this ring straight on because of the fire as well as the shine.  I nearly blinded myself Wink

Finally one last photo as the sun was hiding away

There I won't bore y'all with more Wink

Squigs and OMC:
The last photo is my favorite as well.  I think there was a handshot earlier on that was similar.  It's interesting how the bright sunlight darkens the color of the diamond. The two rings look as though they were made for each other:  perfect proportions.

...and I don't tire of looking at good jewelry photos either.

Aww thanks guys!  I actually think that last one is my favorite too.  I'm not entirely sure why but it is.

I think the colors (skintone especially - that room particularly makes my skin look pink) are the most accurate and the subtle light just made everything look beautiful.

David has a good eye for matching rings.  I really have to give him all the credit on that diamond band.

DAF it surprises me too that in bright lights the color gets more intense.  It's always been that way too.  I really can't believe this is the same diamond sometimes.

I'm sure I'll be looking at the set a lot through sunglasses very soon Wink

Oh my goodness yes!  That would be awesome too!  I could see a whole set like this!

I've been enjoying the ring this week in FL.  I ask to push the stroller around so i can look as I push LOL.  My husband just humors me and lets me go.

I'm so glad ot have sunshine for these two because it was so dreary when we left home.

I also have another set of pretties that were given to me as a gift.  This laptop is not behaving so I can't share those until I get back Grin

Yes it is.  We are kind of fans of Mickey and friends Wink

Right now my husband and brother are swimming with the little guy in the pool.  I can see the pool from our room and so I am watching them from above right now.

Lovely weather though today was a bit hot as the day went on.
