Diadiva! You have been busy, Girl!  I am about to have a fit over that ruby band.  I am really drawn to it.
WM-I am too jealous of those earrings to even comment.

Sanchica!  I guess having the perfect wedding did not stop you from buying more sparklies.

Hey David,
The price of sapphires is all over the place.  I knew it was a good deal when we thought it was not heat treated...now I am at a loss....
The owner of the pawn shop has a sister store in Fl and the store there buys out estates.  He will make the guy an offer once I have cash ready to go...I just do not have the cash ready to go.

The setting looks like a man's ring...I was actually looking at David's hearts...but they may be too small for it.

Annie, been meaning to tell you - I love this pic!  It seems to have picked up chunks of red and it's so rich looking!  I am always surprised how many colors the browns display.  You would think any colors would be muted by the brown but nuh-uh!  It doesn't work that way, does it!?  LOVELY!

here's mine!!!!  she just came in the mail today....hubby called to let me know that it arrived while i was still at work and my attempts to bribe him to bring it to me failed, i had to wait a whole 2 hours before i got home knowing that it was there! ack!

stats: .47ct center
           G color
           VS2 clarity

ring: a whole lotta 950Pt.
        .73cttw melee

when i look through an H&A viewer i see nice crisp arrows but i couldn't get a pic of them, this was the best i can do although they are all mostly blurry, sorry!

this last pic shows it with a .5cttw shared prong band in 14k wg that i picked up a little while ago, i let the set as an alternate wedding set although i really wear either of these as rhrs.

NICE ring!!

djm- didn't we put a brown diamond into a similar setting for you?

Here are the charm bracelets that belong to me and my daughter.  She loves this thing!  She's always dropping hints for the next charm she would like!  Both of my kids gave me a charm for Mother's Day this year:  DS gave me the blue glass floral 'wheel' charm and DD gave me the teacup - very appropriate for me!

DD has got to pick out a couple of the charms on her bracelet.  She asked for the pram for her birthday and we also gave her the pink floral 'wheel'.  She picked out the heart lock with gold key as an extra Christmas gift.  She is so proud of that one!

These are something we can really have fun with without breaking the bank and the charms are so, so cute!

Everyone got such beautiful  goodies!  Other than my gorgeous boy, I got my halo pendant.  Will post pics when I can, but I think I posted them in my bday thread too.  I did buy a gold disc pendant with an engraved J for my sons, but returned it as I have a new idea.

D, sooooo excited you may make 3-color bands. I want a rolling one one of these days!

Yes--it's the most beautiful brown I've ever seen. These pictures don't do it justice but here you go:

Step cut pears?!  How cool!!

I love the style of sanchica's new ring/Mrs. Djm's ring!  My SIL just had her engagement diamond reset similarly with some sapphires thrown in and I loved it!

Gorgeous new acquisitions, everyone! We have certainly been busy, haven't' we?

I have a new yellow/white diamond princess band which I bought form Kklein and I'll post it when I get a chance to take a picture. I also have a new pair of earrings and 4 new necklaces I bought to accessorize with boring outfits.

GL-I can't wait to see the pear pair in person, I just can't quit decide how I want them set---yesterday I was dreaming of them flanking a gorgeous cushion cut sapphire or ruby!?!?!

Sanchica!  That's lovely!

DJ, those charm bracelets are, indeed, charming.

DL, if *I* had those pears, I would set them to match my necklace-- bezel set, dangling from bezel set rounds.  I saw a pair at T's when I was in Houston a few weeks ago-- they were lovely.

Robin-sounds lovely---but, I have a terrible problem with setting unique stones as earrings or a necklace, I want to be able to look at them.  And I think that since the pear pair are step cut, I would prefer them set with other step cuts or something with nice big, fat facets.  So I am kind of wishy-washy on this pair as of yet!  I don't know if I need to see them in person to get the feel for setting them, I'm thinking maybe Smiley

Here's an interesting shot that David took of my three little DBL diamonds (I've still never laid eyes on any... they wait patiently for me in NYC).  Which do YOU like... the 1.01 L Faint Brown VS1 oval; the 1.17 O-P VVS2 round; or the .90 K VVS2 cushion?
