That OEC is LOVELY.  Just lovely.  I adore the setting, too.

After seeing other people post about "shrinkage," I can say that I've never experienced that-- but I guess the key is that I don't wear my ER every day.  I often just wear a band, so when I do wear my ER, it does seem special.

Thanks DJ.  I only have had shrinkage a few times   Undecided....but for the most part I know it's very substantial.  Now, if I had a size 4 finger it would be better than substantial!  Evil

I actually think you should stick with that plain band! It looks fantastic with it and I think your going to have a real tough time finding a diamond one that will match! Good job with the pictures!

Yup, the plain band looks fab!!! Even if you're having shrinkage days... Remember your OEC at 2 carats probably looks dang close to my ER.  Rounds look HUGE compared to fancy shapes!

I'm still in awe at the 1mm difference! I won't shut up about that!!

Thanks BR and Snooper.  We're still on the hunt for a diamond band, too, so I can mix it up.  Lately my ring has looked HUGE so I just need to keep it in perspective.....(note to self) compare to fancy shapes and you'll feel good!  Wink
