NICE!!! I still can't believe how much of a difference the 1mm made!!! WOW!! I love how your ring looks sparkly white, yet warm in some of your other pics from other threads.

And that plain band... I LOVE IT! I know you've been having problems finding a band to go w/ your ER.  I liked the look of the 'exact matching' band you once showed, but seeing it with the plain band? I wouldn't change anything! I like it with the plain!!!

Thanks everyone!!  I like the plain band, too.  At least I have at least one option.  We are probably going to get a diamond band as well.

GL, my nails......the place I go to for manicure/pedicure is super cheap so I'm able to go fairly often.  In between manicures, I simply just paint them a pale pink.  Smiley

I have a few more pics.  Hope it's not too much.

Ooooo, love the iris shots!! Your ring is just gorgeous and I think it looks fantastic with just the plain band. It really sets it off. The rest of your jewelry is beautiful, too, especially your bracelet.  love7

Yes, I'm happy with the way it turned out and I know that it was worth the long, agonizing wait.  I do have to admit, though, I do experience shrinkage every once and a while.  Some times I look down and it just doesn't look very big.  Other times I look down and it's HUGE.  ARGGGGGG.

As for when we're getting married....good question.  We haven't really decided.  We joke that some Sunday afternoon we're just going to call our families and get married in my parents' back yard kind of "spur of the moment."  Smiley  Honestly, that would be perfect for me.  We do need to set a date and get married so that we can start trying to have babies! Smiley

I do have a dress.  I'll have to post it.

OH yes, show the dress!    I bet it is gorgeous!    If I had it to do over again concerning a wedding,  I would have kept it simple.......but on the beach,  IN HAWAII!!! Wink

Great new shots! I agree with everyone else about the plain band -  I think it looks really nice.  That small change in the space really did make a difference, and I think it looks pretty gosh darn perfect now!

How are you liking the choice of going with an OEC?

I am so glad I got an OEC.  It was the perfect choice for me.  I love the chunky flashes of light and the fact that it looks sooooo white in some environments and a little off-color in others.  I think it fits in perfectly with my setting, too.  I would do it again in a heart beat.

I'll try and take some pics of the dress and post them ASAP.  You'll all have to be open-minded, though, as it is VERY large and I need to take it in to get altered but just haven't had the time. Sad

Thanks BR!  I like the way it finally turned out, too.  That was the vision I had in my head all those months!

As for the shrinkage....I would NEVER say that anywhere but here and it's not often but just every once in while....like when I see my FMIL's 2.5ct round on her tiny size 4 finger!!!! Roll Eyes
