Aww, Trinkette that is very kind, thank you! I used to hate having what I thought were such huge hands. Then I found that I kind of like it, b/c I play the flute - and piano a little - and it makes it easier.

Now I figure it works to my advantage b/c I justify getting big jewelry, b/c otherwise, it just disappears on my big ole paws, lol!

Depending on the angle, it really changes how much the pale pink shows. The faceting is divine, truly. And the stone sits up high in the setting. Here's with my new one for size comparison.

Thank you DiaDiva, I'm really loving the deco swirl right now. I've wanted an old cut for a long time, and I must have looked at 1000s!  Yet, this one had me at hello. Even then, I waited months and months until I finally got it. I finally knew I'd regret it forever if I didn't bite the bullet and it disappeared forever. So happy I caved; it's everything I've hoped for in an old cut and more.

Rethinking the posting of the pics from Chicago - not sure if I can or not. Let's just say there was some extremely premium jewelry pieces at some VERY extreme premium prices I managed to snap some shots of.

Not one had anything over what DBL does, quality, size, or "importance-wise" mind you, IMHO. Definitely way overshot on price though.
