Ok, debuting my newest showstopper. I've been on a hunt for the perfect old european cut diamond ring for ages. I think I actually found her! Perfect for me, anyway. The cut is amazing, sparkles like MAD. The color of the rubies is divine, blood red. I adore the swirl design and elaborate engraving characteristic of the era. It's from the 1910's; from an estate in England. I've even got the original box! Here's the description: Magnificent Art Deco Platinum 2.50ct Diamond Sapphire and Ruby Ring A Magnificent Art Deco Platinum Diamond Sapphire and Ruby Ring. This ring features an Old European cut diamond weighing approx 2.50ct in a slightly raised setting the center, surrounded by calibré cut sapphires and rubies in a swirl design bordered by accent diamonds. The shoulders and mount of the ring are decorated with flowers and scrolls. The center diamond is VS clarity and J color. American ring size 6˝. Approx. diameter across the top of the ring is 17mm. Can I say it again? I really like the combination of the colors, as well as the fact that it looks like a flower. Nice cut on the center. Plus, it is pretty patriotic. Carry on, Mikla
