Some of you may recall I purchased an OMC ring from CDier Gracie this past winter. Though I liked the ring and wore it some, I've found I don't wear it at all since I got the new DBL halo as my RHR so I wanted to get it re-set into something that I would wear more often. The setting it was in was not the original and it looked a little too engagement-ey for a RHR anyway. I think it turned out beautifully!! It seems to sparkle so much more in this setting and it even looks bigger!!! (always a plus!!). I haven't taken it off since I got it back! Another bonus...I had the jeweler weigh it before re-setting and it came back as 0.83 carats, more than the .75 estimate when I bought it and more than the .71 estimate on the appraisal I got when it was still in the ring. The neck shot is a bit blurry, so hard to get those in focus when doing it by yourself!!

The setting is really pretty.  I love the chain.  Is that a snake chain?  Also, I am a fan of mine cuts.  Some are really beautiful!

Hi Jewelk!!!

OMG, that stone looks HUGE!!!!!!  So happy to know that you (still) love it, and that it is enjoying its new life as a pendant!

I actually have a brooch with a 1.60 - 1.70 OMC currently set in a brooch with smaller OMCs that I am considering setting into a pendant with the smaller stones being set similar to DBTY style.

Any good close ups that you got?

How lovely! Makes a fantastic pendant and I love your flower shots. Congrats on a renewed sparkly, I hope you love it as much as I do! Looks terrific on you.

Enjoy

Thanks for the compliments guys! I really do love it!

Gracie..I'm so glad you approve of the new setting Wink I know you were considering having it reset before. I really do love the stone, it just has a way of pulling you into that huge culet. Your idea for your 1.6/1.7 OMC sounds really neat! I would love to see pictures if you end up doing it!

I will try to get more pictures and closeups but I can't promise they'll be anytime soon Sad It's raining today but it might clear up this afternoon.

Oh Goodness, that is gorgeous, Jewellk!! I love the setting. Can we see a side view? The stone is TDF and it looks much bigger than .83. Congrats on a fantastic redo.

Just had to take another look at your beautiful pendant.  It's sooooo
pretty!  Just perfect for you.  I agree with the others, it looks bigger!
