Look what David has found: two matching vivid yellow/yellowish orange pears, ~0.65 cttw. And 4 + 6 F matching pears to go with them. Layout by OMC (well, more or less - inspired by a Suzanne Belperron design)

OK, here's something that David just finished. I have only seen the pictures, but I think I like it...

1 mad idea by OMC
6.67 ct precision cut rubellite (which is less black and more red in "real life")
2.85 cttw of melee
18 grams of platinum (and more that was worked away)
Hours and hours of work

Mix well and...





and what must pass for a hand shot - it's sized for DW not for David, but note the play of light going through the stone and back in the diamonds and between the "ribbons" of the turban
