I remember a thread about ugly rings and while I was practising with my new camera and tripod (it works) I remembered my ugly lady.  Art nouveau, probably from a fob chain.  I wanted a locket to put a little four-leafed-clover my father found and gave to me (real one) that had been pressed over 30 years ago and I found this.  I hesitated but then when I turned it over I found it had my eldest daughter´s initials, so here it is in my collection. Here in Portugal people have the longest names possible and this daughter is Anna Maria and with a 7 (yes seven) word surname.  If you look you can see the initials even have a little "de" which is repeated twice in her name. 
 The first time I wore it the clover fell out and was never seen again but ugly lady stays on.

Thanks for your comment Diadiva.  As soon as I can I´ll take a neck shot
of my daughter (older ladies will appreciate what I mean by this). 
I am probably being mean about the poor lady - in the 1900´s she was probably thought a raving beauty.

I didn't think it was ugly either!! Very antiquish and I love that! I especially like the back side.
