It's a beautiful day today so I decided to take out the camera and try to take pictures of my ring that are on par with the ones I've seen in this forum.  The answer was no, but it still looks nice.

Here's another one showing the ring doing what it does all day long  to distract me- SPARKLE!!!!!!  There's an entire rainbow in that twinkle.

Thank You, Carol!

I must preface this by saying that I have carrot sticks for fingers (they get wider as they go from fingertip to palm), and on a person with normal fingers this ring would be absolutely huge.  The center is a 2.21 D/SI2 (for a couple of crystals) with a VG cut grade.  The band is 18K WG and has an additional 1.80 cts of E-F/VS-SI.

Funny story (but true)...
One day at work I was having trouble with my voicemail so the telecommunications guy was called.  When he arrived, he had to wait a moment for me to finish something on my PC before I could get up to give him access to my phone.  While I was saving whatever I was working on, my phone rang.  Now, the ringer on my phone (one of the old style that you could kill someone with if you threw it at them) is set to low but it's so loud that it startles me whenever a call comes in.  So, the phone rang, and I jumped.  The telecom guy said to me, "That's some ring you have there".  I replied "Yeah, it scares the living daylights out of me whenever it goes off".  He said "I was talking about the one on your finger".  He made my day! Thanx

What a funny story  Grin

You have a beautiful ring there, that's for sure!!!  And hush about your fingers.  There is always good and bad to all ring sizes if you think about it.  I actually wish sometimes my finger and neck sizes were larger at times.  yeah stones look larger, but I run into all kinds of issues with things not fitting right.

Anyway I think you have a stunning ring.  What does your wedding band (if you have one that is) look like?

The WB matches the ring, but the diamonds go all the way across instead of having the break for the main stone and the surprise diamonds below the main stone.  Slightly less carat weight also, coming in at 1.50.  The two together will definitely take up some serious real estate.

what a beauty! and a true classic in design. no worries about your fingers, they couldn't be any worse then mine. I wear fake nails just to remind myself that I am a female when looking at them.............  Grin

Ooh, it is lovely.  Cheesy Congratulations.

I see what you mean about the three-sided pave. It suits this ring beautifully.

In agreement.  It makes me drool.

I'm such a weirdo but I love going through the gallery here when I have a moment or two.  I LOVE looking at all the bling!  People here have amazing taste.  But yours is one that's stood out to me on many occasions.  It makes me swoony.

Thank you both for your kind words.  It is a magnificent ring.  DF had a budget and gave me carte blanche to pick what I liked.  The budget went out the window X 2.5.  We went home and discussed it and he said he wanted me to be happy after I said I wanted my Forever Ring.  I get no less than one compliment a day on it.  Needless to say, I'm very happy  Smiley

Gotta love a guy who allows the "budget" to fly out the window for a "Forever Ring" thing... DF rocks!  git
