I love it too!  I'm just not sure that the "price is right" in comparison to some diamonds I like at that price point.  For half the price, it would be on my finger already, but I've got a few more things on my wish list yet before I jump at a pricey emerald.  It certainly is lovely, though.  I can see why it commands a much higher price than normal - what color!

I've been promising to post pictures for a long time now and I'm actually going to follow through!  First up, my heart earrings, which David recently modified for me to change out the leverback to platinum and add a 16 point DBTY to each.  Sorry my princess cut earring is so dirty!  Everyone must have a set of these leverback earrings!  Seriously, I love them.

The earrings are awesome Mikla. The ring isn't "bad" either....  Grin  Wouldn't mind a closer look at it. You have an amazing collection. I looked at the beginning of this thread and your sapphire ring is fantastic.

Mikla, your collection is amazing! I don't know what to look at first. I do love that yellow radiant ring though. That's always been a favourite of mine. Gorgeous! Nice leverbacks, too. How do you find the weight of platinum for earrings? I would love some leverbacks, having branched out from my usual studs recently.

Jen - if DW's experience of losing one (and then another) platinum earring and not noticing is anything to go by, platinum or white gold won't make that much of a difference.  Grin

Jen, OMC's right.  I didn't notice any difference in the weight of the earrings.  The only reason I changed the leverbacks out in the first place was that the original white gold leverbacks were irritating my ears, but the platinum doesn't at all.  These earrings are as comfortable as my studs and I highly recommend these leverbacks to anyone and everyone!   Evil

Woah! Fantastic to see this thread pop up to the top of the page again, because you have the most amazing collection. I remember now - I always love what you pick, and we have similar tastes. Oh dear, how I love these heart shaped halo leverbacks, and I'd forgotten about them for a while. Another thing to add to the list, I'm afraid!

Nice emerald, too. You can't beat that double baguette setting - such a classic!
