Hi guys!  I've received a few requests for pictures, so I had my DH help me out with the camera today.  Mind you, neither one of us is especially talented at close-up photography and my fingers look fat in almost every picture (hand model, I'm not)!  Grin 

First up, the Asscher Pink Halo ring (which was the most difficult to photograph):

I think I need to get one of those Asscher with halo rings... when the next hippo comes flying by.

That spinel is really nice - a lot redder than it looked in the first photos you posted.

I'm going to need to see a separate photo of the blue sapphire on your hand. Pretty please. The side of that pink diamond halo is to die for. It's a work of art on your hand. And is the yellow intense or vivid. It's killer egg yolk yellow in that photo. Stunning collection. Just breathtaking. Thanks so much for posting those photos.

Thank you, everyone!

WM, here are some closer shots of the sapphire ring, along with my spinel ring and an opal ring my mother gave me when I turned 18.  The sapphire is David's R2155 (2.57 ct with .54 cts in half moons) while I bought the spinel from an estate broker (2.27 ct).  I'll post some shots of the fancy light yellow next (it really looks a lot darker than fancy light yellow, doesn't it?).

Here are a few pics of R1800, a 1.61 ct fancy light yellow that GracefulLion traded in for the Eagle.  GL named this ring "HRH" (Her Royal Highness) and she really is!  Also pictured is R2480, a 2.18 ct W-X pendant (made by David) for comparison's sake.

I love that sapphire-- the color, the setting, all of it-- *almost* as much as my future (only 12 months and eight days to wait) Bronx Blue.  And you actually get to WEAR it  Grin.

mikla thank you. Those are great photos. The yellow does look so much more yellow than FLY. It really pops. And the necklace and the sapphire and the everything. Absolutely delectable.
