Hi Everyone!

We got the 2.18carat back from GIA.

We all guessed U-V color, and we were all wrong....
Here's the GIA report

We have a pendant design in the works

What a jaw dropper. I thought w-x in case any one wanted to know.  sultan Love the drama of the corners. That is so fab. The GIA paper isn't bad either. I just can't keep my eyes off the diamond.

BRILLIANT!  Mikla, you must be over the moon!  I agree with Webmistress - I love those corners too.  YUM!  This is going to be one heck of a pendant.  Any firm ideas yet?

Well, I can't take credit for this idea.  I did find the picture of what I wanted, but this is just a different take on pendants previously posted by DJ and Luvnjewelry.

Mikla, I'll say it again... your yellow radiant was the STEAL of the century.  Gorgeous diamond and a great GIA report to match!  Congratulations.  And, I LOVE the yellow pendant you posted.  In fact, I'd be thrilled with the set up as either a pendant OR a ring.  Reminds me of WM's beautiful ring...

Mikla!

So that's what the pendant really looks like!  All I saw was the black&white copy on the desk the other day..  haha I like it much better in color! Grin

Mikla- I love the idea of the microset. I have a ring similar and I can't tell you the number of people who grab my hand and ogle it.  It's a design you'd see at Harry Winston (David used to work for him way back) yet it's DBL priced with David's quality touches. The metal is substantial and never flimsy.

I think a pendant like that would make the shape pop like mad. Do consult with David and get his opinion on bezel or prong set. Mine is bezel and I adore it. But it's always good to ask someone who does this stuff all the time. I'd love it as a diamond shape or as a square.

It's got drama!

Thanks, WM!

David and I talked, and we're going with 18kt gold bezel-set, with all else platinum, 18" chain, white diamonds in the halo like the picture, with the accentuated corners on the bezel and halo.  I think a yellow bezel will bring up the yellow a little more and I also didn't want prongs catching on my clothing either.  David suggested engraving on the side of the pendant, which I thought was fabulous.  He's going to let the setters decide on the engraving.

BTW, I looked at your 1.23ct U-V Halo ring in the picture gallery.   th_AWA123112

I just love that ring.  Kiss  BTW, I've never known, WM, what is the actual shape of your 1.23 UV? I can't be sure with he bezel. Regardless, it is a stunner.

I remember looking back at this one and thinking I made a mistake by not snapping it up...so I may have to call first dibs on your necklace.
