They are such beautiful diamonds, it would hard to imagine them not working together. I think you're going to be really happy with the ring, because these stones just sing out even before they are set.

Can't wait to see it - going to be good!

This is going to be gorgeous, and one of my all time favorites, I just know it.  I LOVE hearts set to the side like that, I think you'll be VERY pleased. When the hearts are pretty (like these) they can look fabulous set as side stones (I like them with an RB in the center, like pear sides, but with more fullness).  Also, I'll bet there will be more people looking for such a setting.  I've only seen a few with all three diamonds shaped as hearts, and this center stone is by far the prettiest I've seen done in such a way.  It has a lovely shape.  I can't wait to see this one!  Whistle

Those heart diamonds are really killer. I wasn't a heart diamond fan until David got some yellow heart diamond earrings. For some reason those put me over the edge. I think, in particular, it was yellow heart diamonds. That's what really works for me with that combo. The colors are so good and I love that the yellow will be on both sides.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting those yellow heart diamond earrings.

I am sooo excited to see this!!  I was one of the people who suggested an alternative way of setting it, but only out of speculation, not because I don't think it will be beautiful.  I am definitely curious as to how it will all turn, and I think this is the kind of ring that could start a HUGE trend!!!  Congrats!

That was very nice of you to name your beautiful ring Dorothy after my mother. Cheesy
Actually she wasn´t very fond of her name especially as she got older and found that the only women named Dorothy were exactly the same age as her.  I have no idea whether there was a spate of Dorothy (ies?) after the Wizard of Oz?
Anyway it is a lovely name for a ring and I would definitely like to strike my red shoes on the ground and get one like it.

Wow! She looks fantastic. A real statement piece.

I hope you love her, Lynne. I was totally wrong about setting the sidestones the other way round, it wouldn't have looked nearly as good.

Enjoy!
