Awww, that's not an annoying story, it's a heartbreaking one. It sounds like you really wanted it. I've admired the platinum and diamond bracelets with sapphires or rubies for quite some time, I just couldn't get one in really good condition at a price I could afford. The one that I do have is in really good shape, and it's beautiful, and I got it for a really good price.

I would blatantly ~~ask him what outfit he is going to wear it with~~ tell him that you really wanted it and if he wasn't going to wear it himself you'd like to have it, as you've been in the family a long time.
