Thank you Titania, I love the way the look on. I had to wear studs today, someone at school asked to see emerald cut studs and as much as I love them, I was really sad to leave the hoops at home even for a few hours!

Cherrypie - nope, sorry! These are staying with me I'm afraid. Christmas is coming up though. Do you celebrate Christmas? Never too early to start thinking about a gift...

Trinkette, I want a copy of that pic too! My friend takes the most amazing photos but she rarely gets round to printing them. I shall nag her (nicely) to get this one printed, it's a favourite of mine.

Pinklady, I say go for the yellow hoops. They'd be lovely in yellow. Are you thinking yellow gold and white diamonds or all yellow? One day, when I have more money, I might just be tempted to get a yellow and / or a pink diamond pair made. I really, really love them!

I would have them with white diamonds Jen. Do you know the specs for your earrings? I like the way the diamonds are a bit apart from eachother.

Sorry PL, you already asked this and I forgot to tell you. I'll have to check David's email message about them to be sure, but from memory I think they are 1.69ct E-F VS and priced at around $1350. I'll check and get back to you if I got that wrong.

DH just told me NO MORE SPARKLIES! Bawling  HMMMPH!  We'll just see about that!  House closes tomorrow, anything over 30k is mine, MINE, MINE!     Mwahahaha!  yar

Unfortunately, after tax, title, tags, and the back owed IRS...I'll be lucky to come out with 30k left over. Oh well, Christmas is a long way off. 13   If I can just get him to stop buying model airplanes ahd helicopeters.  Boys and their toys!  tongue2

 angry5  I'm hearing what you're saying, Mikla.  And I'm more happy to be saving the $$ on the mortgage and taxes that are going down the drain every month.  Still, I put 1/3 of the original price as a down, and now am looking at less than 1/3 of the equity coming back.  Hurts a bit - that.

Awww, thanks!

They're getting a lot of attention here, too. So many people have admired them and asked where they came from. Diamond hoops are quite unusual here.

Someone admired them yesterday and followed it up with "they'd be worth a fortune if they were real..."  I hate to say this, but it was my MOTHER!!! She knows now.  Wink She also discovered that my asscher band is real and that it fits her and looks fantastic on her hand. I'm optimistic that she may come over to the dark side, if I could just get her online. Evil
