This is a ring that my sister found at a pawn shop.  The diamond certainly looks real, and it doesn't look plated, but the only stamp that I can see on the inside of it says Gothic.  Does anyone know anything about this?  Any info will help and thanks in advance.

Thank you.  Is there any way to know if it's plated? Is there a tell tell?  It doesn't look or feel plated.  I love it anyway.  I guess that's what matters.

These are good questions.
I'm no expert on platinig metals... is there any stamp indicating karatage ( 14kt 18kt, plat, 585, 750 etc.....)
