Well.. as most of you know.. I have been eyeing the marquise pink lemonade pretty much as soon as it came out.. and my bf and I have been talking engagement for awhile.. Originally when the pear came out thats what I wanted.. but after it sold rather quickly, my bf pointed out the marquise and I swooned (lol)

Well last Friday I see the ring was finally sold and I was a little heartbroken.. even though I know David could make another.. I still was a sad.

After I told my bf how I felt and he sympathized and told me we would find another.. or talk to David and see if he could make us another.. or even check out a local jeweler here.. so I started to look at other options..

Well last night.. low and behold.. we were hanging out with most of our good friends and he disappears upstairs for a few minutes. One of our guy friends tells me that Dane told me to come upstairs because my phone is ringing.. I figured it was my mother and didnt think anything of it.

As I get upstairs my bf calls me over (he is sitting in a chair) and sits me down and asks me what I wanted to do about the ring situation. I told him honestly Id be happy with anything because it was from him.. he continued to probe for a couple of minutes...at one point I even tried to get up to go to the bathroom and he pulled me back down and told me we werent done. Then he pulls out a box and said "So you'd even be ok with this one?"...

and guess what it was.. The marquise pink lemonade!! (pics to come later)..

After being completely shocked and totally caught off guard.. and many "are you serious" statements and our friend who was up there saying "I think the word you're looking for is YES".. he slide it on my finger.. Perfect fit..

 God I love this man...

Thank you David and Robert for giving him such amazing customer service.. and I have to say we were ALL VERY impressed with the look and quality of the ring. I will for sure come back to DBL and will probably be bringing some girlfriends along with me...  my matron of honor is already eyeing an upgrade lol!

Did anyone else notice that instead of saying "SOLD", the listing says "SOLD!!!"?  Ren, I think you should take a screen shot of that and put it in your future wedding album
